power supplie for a 8800 GTX 768 Mo

hi !
i just get a New video card a MSI 8800 GTX 768 Mo
and i was wondering if my 500 W power supplie would be enouth ?

i just have a HD SATA 80 Go ,another hard drive of 40 go and my DVD burner

what is your power supplie with this kind of graphic card ?

Well, that's kind of tricky to answer. When choosing a power supply, wattage isn't as important as aperage. You should look for a power supply with that is both high efficiency and high in amperage output, particularly on the twelve volt rail/rails.

What kind of 500W unit are you using now?

It is a HUNTKEY V-POWER 500 W

so what do you think ?
my config

MSI P965 NEO
CORE 2 DUO E4300
2 GO RAM 667 Mhz
HD  SATA 80 go
and i  gonna changed my 7600 gt with the 8800 GTX 768 mo

and can i damage my new graphic card with a bad power supplie ?
or there is no risk

ok i think i will be a little short and i want the card to work well

so i was about to buy this one :

it seems that there is more amperage on this one

rather have a goog 500 w than a cheap 750 w  right ?
