my wife today told me that she can get me a discount on computers through her college...she knows what i do on the computer for gaming.

Nah mate to high price... build yourself you will save. my frined my a system like that for $400 AUS, just tower ;)

Yes, you can reduce is almost $700 if you build it yourself.
