after a full month of tense waiting, it finally made it's way here!! i still can't believe it
i honestly had given up on the notion of ever seeing my order arrive... it was almost eerie how, not one full day after i had accepted the fact that my order was lost, the phone rang... it was the post office wanting to confirm my address (so it was at least semi-correct then)
the next morning, there it was! a beatiful Saitek X52 Pro and the Pro-Flight Rudder Pedals
i have to admit i did get a little scared when i first saw the state of box when it got here... it was crumpled like an old newspaper, and my guess is that it must have been tossed around quite a lot in the mail, then lost and forgotten in some warehouse for some 3 weeks... then for some reason still obscure to me, found and delivered
thankfully, the insides were packed very neatly, so nothing was damaged :)
and the best part is that since i'm living here in Mexico now, i didn't have to pay a dime in taxes :o
in Brazil it would have cost me an arm and a leg 8-)
and now it's sitting here in my desk, looking at me ,
trying to make me forget i have homework to do and just go play ;)well, that's the end of my story... now i know why webstores offer the more expensive Fedex/UPS shipping option... next time i'll do that ::)
