Laptop sound glitch on memory upgrade

Hi all.

I upgraded my RAM from 1Gb to 2Gb (it's DDR2) in my HP laptop (Turion 64x2, Radeon X1250) and although the texture loading is better, FS9 seems to have developed a slight twitch in the sound, in that the ATC voices occasionally sound like they're stammering, and in external view, there are occasional rapid clicks, like the system is having trouble keeping up with the sound. These weren't there before. Is there anything I can do to help with this? I thought more RAM was better!

Thanks for looking.

;)

I'm not an expert, but I could be the sound drivers and not the 2Gb of RAM, have you put the 1Gb back in and seen if there is still a problem?

I've had a fiddle with the settings and it appears to be better now. The memory modules don't appear to be readily accessible (I got those good guys at PC World to do it) so I haven't changed it back to 1Gb - not sure I'd know how to, as I'm wary of taking my (business) laptop apart!

Thanks for the suggestion.
