3 minute boot time for XP

Well, since installing my new 9800 GTX+, I have had HORRIBLE loading times for stuff, and I believe that it is because the SATA cable is in a different slot then I put it in the first time, as the old slot was blue, this one is white, and the cord is blue.


I can't really move the sata cable, or the card, due to the fact it took me 20 minutes to get the (insert explicit word here) card in.


It's defragging right now to help a bit.

It's a 500 GB 7200 RPM Western Digital drive, and it's hot to the touch when I open up the case, even hotter than my graphics card's PCB slab.

I had the problem with vista that it took 5 minutes to boot up and while playing grid I got a Vista BSOD and now the bootup time is less than a minute or so ;D ;D
