Is the AMD 9850 Quad-Core any good?

I was just wondering, its alittle cheaper than like the Q6600.

The 9850 is a great chip but will not overclock like a 6600.

I have never used the 6600 so can not give you a good comparison.

There is a better selection of motherboards for the intel chips also.

I use my computer for a lot more than gaming and am quite happy with the 9850.
