QX9650 Help with Readings

When Viewing the View System Information in My Computer, the QX9650 has readings of 3.00Ghz and 2.33Ghz but when I go into CPU-Z I get only 2000.0Mhz at 1333.3Mhz.


Which one should I believe and should I check the speed in the BIOS just in case?

The BIOS doesn't lie.


Open up firefox and then click on CPU-Z immediately and check if it goes to 3000 Mhz.

I see. I don't have firefox. I opened up IE and CPU-Z, it jumped from 2000.0 to 2333.3Mhz.

So the speed I am seeing is the idle speed?

Yes, it happened to me as well, but I also suggest you get firefox! Beats IE by a long shot.
