For Nick N

Nick,

Happened across your bio, no wonder XP and FSX now run better on my 6600(2.4 O/C to 3.0).

The 8800GTX is a bit pricy for me. My question:  is the 9800GTX+ any good for FSX at a price point of $215?

My 8800 GTS blew up!

Many thanks.

tomshardware.com

the 9800 GTX + beats the 8800 GTX on it, and that's what nick always links to (well, it's the only place that does FSX benchmarks)

I am getting one, and go on newegg, it's $199!

Don't forget that 8800 GTX's are 2.5 times as pricey as 9800GTX+'s.

Nick,

Thank you for stopping by. Your suggestions have ALWAYS worked on my modest system; I'll run various tests and always come back to your Nhancer setup.

Pls keep stopping by; your expetise and background are rare and have helped many; especially enjoy FSWC.
