THIS IS THE LAST TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My dad got a new computer, came with wireless Keyboard and mouse, they don't work with vista (dad com is vista) the stuff works with XP...for 1 min, it works and connects all good, then bam! not working, re plug it back in, na XP can not F@#$!%# reconise

Get rid of the netgear adapter, and buy a linksys one.


Just use a PnP keyboard and mouse.

It's not a netgear adapter, it's made by medion the people who made my dad's computer ;). andi  want a wire less M/KB 'cause 2 less wires coming out my computers butt ;D

I think i've got it working, pluged it straight in the back :) i have to play around a bit now, mouse very quick ;D

I don't know why it cuts out every 5 min :(

It just did it again. then when i replug it it say it can not reconised

Have you got the "Power Options" set to turn off the computer/hard drive, etc,  every 5 minutes?...

...and the "Screen Saver" switching off the Monitor?

Easy thing to miss on a new computer...;)..!

Paul it would cut out in like 2 min, my screen saver is set to 15 min, my power options are the same as yours ;)

It's the mouse and keyboard i've givin up on :-[, if i get it working i'll be so happy, bu for now i'm with the good ol' fashion cored mouse a keyboard. they don't break ;)


I had one of those funny Microsoft Wireless Mouse thingies...
...batteries kept going flat... >:(...!

Dumped it.... :-*..!

Just use a cheap-o, wired Keyboard (

Vista SP1 installed? Tried power options? No faulty USB's? Nothing blocking the wireless? I hate wireless mice (hehe) and controllers...
