ok so I was looking at getting a new comp to build and needed yalls advise on these hardware......

CPU=E8500 Wolfdale
MB=EVGA 780i
Zaleman 9500 CPU cooling fan
RAM= 2x 2GB OCZ RAM (OCZ Reaper HPC) DDR2-1066
PSU= Corsair CMPSC-750TX 750 watts
ASUS black DVD/CD Burner Model E616A3T DVD 16x CD 48x
Case= NZXT Apollo Case
250GB Western Digital HD

Looks good.

Unless you're going SLi I'd stick with an Intel board, but that's just me. 9500 should able to cool a 45nm dual easily, even heavily overclocked.

I don't know anything about that case, or PSU - but I know Corsair make some of the best power supplies.

It is an Intel board. Im using an PNY 8800GT Extreme. I might get a dual Graphics set up later after I get my comm. cert.

Oh btw Ive changed it up a bit from when I posted this topic. this now what im getting....

It is an Intel board.

I think what Vodka Burner meant was an Intel chipset, X38 or X48. 790i is an Nvidia chipset.
