Simple...how do I install 2 drives in with one running the OS and other core programs and the other just for files?

What is the wiring to set up the 2 drives? Would all installations be in the C drive as default from now on? Which should be the "Master" and "Slave" ?

Master and Slave only applies if the hard drives are IDE - As each SATA drive has it's own channel.

One will appear as C, the other another letter. Simply move your my docs folder and any other folders over to the other hard disk but leave the OS and al the settings for your user account on the main hard drive (C).

HTH.

So does that mean that we don't need to manually set up the boot drive for the OS to boot from?

When you install the second HD, the first time you boot go into BIOS. Make sure the first device is set to SATA 1 and the second SATA 2. That way the computer will boot from the first hard disk first (which will be the one containing the OS).

Of course you could set them to the second and third boot devices if you wanted your CD drive first.

Hope this helps!
