New case!

I got an antec 900 the other day along with my new heatsinks. I love my heatsinks. Dropped my temps down quite a bit. GTX used to idle at 52c and load temps were over 70c. Now idle temps are down to 40c and load rarely passes 50c. CPU load is down to 54c too.

I still need to rewire it. I'm going to cut a few more holes in the motherboard tray and paint the inside black :D

When I did it, I did it randomly. To where I even surprised myself :D. Plus it's kinda funny hearing people ask me why my entire computer is sprawled out on the dinner table and why the hell I would even consider taking a dremel to anything computer related ::)

Good times....

Edit: Just make sure to cut the hole for a the power supply wires closer to the unit. Don't make it 2 inches away like I did lol.

Oh and I had to but you might not , I had to buy a CPU power connector extender. Make sure it's long enough before getting it routed and hooking everything up and then going "damn", like I did ;D

Hah I did that with my first hole. I'm gonna drill another one closer though so it'll be easier to route wires behind there. Also, how'd you get the cables flat enough to get the other side panel on?

Lol. When I wired it up like I have it now, I couldn't get the panel on because the wires were bulging out too much. 20 strips of duct tape later, it's on  :D

Better, but you decided not to run the CPU power connector through the back?

Hope you don't mind if I post mine, but In comparison cutting an extra hole or two makes a large difference. As well as running all of the top fan wires and the HDD cage fan wires to the back and also connecting them in the back.

Very pretty Monkey, looks like you're going for a pretty quiet machine. I like the look of the 900 although I ended up with the CM 690 and i'm in love with it. really easy to manage the wires (although i will do a better job of it next time around) and lots of customizing possibly with regards to airflow and fan placement. I have 2 front, 2 top, 2 side, and 1 back with 2 fan positions free. Overall it was the price difference that made up my mind. Although I still wish the side panel with the window was more available.

I've been thinking of getting a CM690 in the fall/christmas. It looks awesome, especially for cable management.

Also, dual monitors FTW!

The 20" one is for my friend though, but I get to use it til she builds her computer :D

I wish I had the money to get 2 22" monitors. That'd be awesome! :D
