The first set of hard ware has been delivered to me.

Intel QX9650
EVGA 8800 GTX
2x WD Raptor 150Gb 10,000 RPM HDD
EVGA 790i

THe Memory sets will be here by monday. OS will be ordered right now.

Luckily my dad doesn't know how much my 'slow', ONLY 2.4ghz Q6600 owns his 3.2ghz Pentium 4.

No they're not. But two Samsung F1 in identical RAID setup will be faster (for read/write) The only thing Raptors have is faster access times.

Faster - Yes, but, when you are into gaming...you need space.
300Gbs is perfect. 140...not so much (even if it was faster.)
