 I am running Vista Premium, 32bit and have a Dx10 compliant video card.  I run FSX Deluxe, Acceleration but do not use the Dx10 option in the sim.  I assume then, that I am running FSX in the Dx9 mode.  Should I update my Dx9c.  I recently installed the Vista Sp1.

Vista comes with DX10. What videocard do you have? You need a newer gen GPU for DX10 support. Even so DX10 looks nothing fantastic, barely slightly and it's much slower.
