Hello, I have a EVGA 7950gt oc 256, in the box says that the core is at 650 mhz, and the memory at 1400 mhz.
Ok i have GPU Z and he says core 565, and memory 715.
Am i wrong or the card is wrong or i don't know how to read the data

I would insert a pic but i don't know how

This query has come up before, and I am pretty sure that your GPU Z is reading the details correctly...;)..!

565/715...as supplied standard.

Paul... 8-)...!

My 7800 GS AGP card has similar readings, and is fine, left as standard.
Mess with it at your peril... :'(...!

The Memory speed means different things to different people, (manufacturers, etc), depending upon how you interpret the readings.

The lower indicated Memory speed is correct...;)...!

Thank you for respond.
So that mean those values 650/1400 are just for what to foul us, or its how far you can go. If not why they say it.
Many thanks for the reply, but i think i need to take the card to the vendor and %^@#^#$^@#^#@% with him?

And if it is the OC ( over clocked) so that means that the core is what  :o 350/ 300, without the factory OC?
Don't get me wrong i just don't understand
Many thanks :-/

1400 is the speed measured by 2 cycles (I think) of the card, meaning the true speed is somewhere around 700, but the "2 Cycle speed" is 1400.... someone please correct if I am wrong ;)

Close enough. If the card in question uses DDR (Dual Data Rate) memory, then that's about right. 700Mhz yields an EFFECTIVE memory clock of 1400Mhz.
