ATI Cards

Postby uncleyuk » Thu Mar 20, 2008 7:38 am

:D  Good Morning all,  I have a PCI-e 1950 pro card and am switching to an ATI HD3650.  Should I expect any significant improvement in FSX.  I'm running;

Intel Celeron D
3.2 Ghz
2 G ram
Vista Premium
250 G HD
WS 19" LCD

Both cards are 512mb but the HD3650 is DX10.1 compliant or so it says.

I would have thought that if it is DX10 there should be some improvement. I'm sure Nick will be along soon!

1950 pro was a pretty good card, so I'd think a budget newer gen card will be slower. The 3850 beats the 1950 Pro, but not sure about the 3650.
