Out Of Memory error

Twice today I got an OOM shut down of FSX SP2.

I got that error even though I have an 8800GT 512mb and 3 gbs of ram and lots of HD space. Fixed it by simply right clicking on the FSX.EXE, and clicking run as admin.

First time I have heard of FSX OOM on a 64bit OS

It sounds to me like you are either missing a Vista update, a BIOS setting for 64bit PCIe memory mapping, or, the video drivers you are using have a memory leak

I had the same problem. I have vista 64bit 4 gigs. There is a hotfix if you type the error into google you can find where to get it. I think it also comes down with windows update.
