Limit download speeds to members in a network?
Posted: Sun Mar 16, 2008 11:29 amI was just wondering if there are any free tools or any thing which will let me limit the download speed for people in my LAN.
The reason is because the wireless laptops in my household seem to be reaping in all the connection. I can sometimes get 2mb/s when I am the only one using the internet, but it can drop to under 100kb/s for long periods of time... and I have my work to do too.
I have checked the settings in my BT-HomeHub but I cannot find anything.
Before anyone asks, I am the one who manages and looks after this network despite the internet being paid for by my father.
