If I build myself a computer (HDD question)
Posted: Tue Jan 22, 2008 4:09 pmIn product design tech at school (for my GCSE) I am going to raid and maybe buy some oldish parts for a computer and build a prototype games console out of it. I know quite alot about building computers and the build will be fairly simple... but I have one question:
Will using an old, working hardrive, work on this new system? I mean literally if I plug the hardrive in, will it boot up the WinXP I have installed on it?
