Headphones making a scratching/cutting out sound

Postby machineman9 » Fri Jan 18, 2008 5:38 pm

I have These headphones... they are about a month old.

The problem is, on media player or FSX or wherever, the sound keeps juttering and sounding a bit scratchy. At other times the sound will hold and be like a mixture of death and ear bleeding for about 15 seconds before it returns to scratching

The drivers are all installed...

Win Vista Home Premium

..a mouse trying to find its way back out again... ::)...?

Bad/broken connection/dry contacts?...

Try plugging them into your Tele or Radio/Music player socket to test the Phones?

Sounds like the plug is loose in the socket.

Foz... Only my computers have USB outputs, no radios or anything...

And yeh, after reseating it and listening to a great 3 minutes of Akeboshi, the problem was that it was loose.
