I am thinking of getting the ATI Sapphire HD3850 256 or 512mb but I have heard that it is loooooooong (around 7 inches). I can't find it's dimensions anywhere, do you know what the dimensions are?

Do you know what...

I've got to the stage now, that with my trusty AMD 2600, Socket7 Processor!, my nVidia 78000GS 256Meg, AGP Graphics Card, enough HDD to do the job, together with a 750 Watt PSU...

...that for the life of me, I can't see what spending loadsa extra money on an "upgrade" will make much, if any, difference to the Truly Fabulous way my FS 2004 (and most of my other games) run, will make?... ::)...!

I've got to the stage now, where I say to myself..."Enough, is enough my old Chum!"...

..."....spend you money on other "Toys" for a while!"...*.... ;)

...LOL... ;D...!

Paul.... 8-)...!

...I'm sure I don't need that Cray Supercomputer at the mo'.... ::).... ;D....!

*....Abby wants some more Tattoos, a new cast-iron Choker, and a new pair of black Fish-Net Tights.... :-*...!

My motherboard has the following slots open:
PCI Two (One available)
PCI Express x16 One (One available)
PCI Express x1 One (One available)
The card says it uses PCIe 2.0...will my system run it...?

PCI Express 2.0 cards are backward compatible with PCI Express slots.. So, yes, it will work.

Ok, it'll fit with room to spare ;)
I'll have to use my cord-fu to re-arange all the tanglies so it will fit but theres at least a foot of room there...I think I will get the ATI Visiontek HD3850 256mb becuase I will not be using half a gig of memory on the card. ::)
