Are your ISPs giving you their advertised speed? Choose a server and test your speed.

I'd recommend using a few, not just the recomended one... I've had better speeds via Istanbul than London

12,251 download speed. It's a saturday and this is a peak hour. Pretty good. Although Vista doesn't like a few of the websites I've gone too making them all slow and stuff. 8-)

I pay for 8MB broadband but in peak hours get this sort of speed which is frustrating.. off peak I get my 8mb speed. I am switching broadband though.

Better than dialup and makes it all possible however.

And I'm paying for 1024KB Downstream, 512MB Upstream.

Still, it ain't bad.  What sucks is the connection from here to other countries, and that's what I care about.  I barely visit any sites in Thailand apart from PC sites, or google.co.th...
