Im thinking of upgrading my graphics card to this....

Did some looking around and your better off with the 8800gt due to developers favouring nvidia.

500W should be OK as long a it can supply a constant 28A on the 12V rails.

Is it worth it?

It will make a noticable difference in clarity but don't expect huge FPS gains as they are almost exclusively down to the CPU

Was your psu 500w cause that will be fine.
Dont get too put off by 12 amp 2 rail 5 rail 28amp train track volt thingy thangy dingy dongy most psu's work with most cards as long as there 450w+for newer cards.. ;D
I bought a 650w psu from a computer fair

I currently have 400w, so ill upgrade that and then get the ati i think, because its cheaper and faster clock speeds ;D
