Sounds a lot like an advertisement to me....

It does. Plus this is the wrong forum, shouldn't this be in the Hardware forum? Also, I don't feel like shelling out US$300 for a little gimmick. That could pay for 2 or 3 flying lessons for me.

Ya I dont blame you for thinking its an advertisement but the VR920 is a product I really believe in and I wanted to get the word out.  And yes this probably should be in the hardware forum but this is my first post and the flight simulator x forum was the first i saw.

I tried the vuzix setup, but decided on a TrackIR, and in retrospect, I'm glad I did, based on what I later heard.

Since the product is so new, it really is set up for the nVidia graphics cards, so it would not have worked correctly/ideally on my ATI Radeon setup.

Having said that, the immersion is incredible.  I would shell out the 399 (full price, after Nov.30) instead of going for a multimonitor setup.

Another factor in my TrackIR over Vuzix was that the TrackIR also supports several of the other games I play, while the Vuzix doesn't (yet).
