And yes this probably should be in the hardware forum but this is my first post and the flight simulator x forum was the first i saw.

Posted: Wed Nov 14, 2007 6:38 pmI tried the vuzix setup, but decided on a TrackIR, and in retrospect, I'm glad I did, based on what I later heard.
Since the product is so new, it really is set up for the nVidia graphics cards, so it would not have worked correctly/ideally on my ATI Radeon setup.
Having said that, the immersion is incredible. I would shell out the 399 (full price, after Nov.30) instead of going for a multimonitor setup.
Another factor in my TrackIR over Vuzix was that the TrackIR also supports several of the other games I play, while the Vuzix doesn't (yet).
