Graphics card memory has nothing to do with the system RAM, so any card goes, so to speak.
Quick question though, why AMD? Intel Core 2 duos are wiping the floor with them at the moment.... more Level 2 cache (4mb) and it uses less power for more performance.

I heard that AMD's were more powerful, but much less expensive. It just depends. It's either that or an Intel Core 2 Duo at 2.4ghz...

Whoever told you that either lied to you or is an AMD fanboy who doesn't realize that Intel's Core 2 duo's are way better at the moment. Really, with a core 2 duo you get more porcessing power and your electricity bills will be easier to pay

Ok, I found one with a Dual Core Processor but it's only at 2.2Ghz compared to 2.8Ghz with AMD. Does it matter?
