I have and X-52 stick and throttle and have everything pretty well set up except I cant figure out how to use the slider on the throtle to control mixture.  I also would like to use on of the wheels to control prop speed.   I have tried to figure it out and just can't get it.  Anybody know how to do this?

Perhaps at the Saitec forum you may get help.

My X45, wheels are easily assigned in fs9 for rudder trimming etc, & prop speed is assigned to the left Hut's (on the Stick) L & R movements.

I have a X45, and I had a similar problem until I made sure the sensitivity for the mixture and prop axes was set to maximum... for me, at least, in FS9 the default setting is "0".
Did you check that (Options> Controls> Sensitivities> Joystick)?

And of course before you check that you must assign the wheels to the desired functions (Options> Controls> Assignments> Joystick Axes). To select the assignment, just turn the wheel.
