System at present:
M/B Gigabyte K8NS Pro
Athlon 64 3400+
Radeon 9600
RAM 1GB
With this, I can run FSX at a reasonable level, and FS9 slightly better, but want a big improvement.
I have had suggested by a local dealer the following, (UK prices I'm afraid)
M/b Foxconn AM2
CPU AMD Dual core 4600+
Graphics X/Vision GEFORCE 8600GT Super SLI P 512mb
RAM 2GB memory
This would cost

I would do the AMD 64 X2 5000 Brisbane Black edition. Should be similar cost but it has an unlocked multiplier so you can over clock to 3.2 GHz.

Id go for the fastes CPU you can get as it will have the greates impact on framerrtaes. There has being a lot of discussion on this and you will find the video card wont have as much impact as the CPU as FSX is all abt pushing data which requires a lot of bandwidth on the data bus, besides the AMD 6000 is so cheap it will be your best buy.
