Yes I'm going to. I'm upgarding my pc to a quad core, ddr3 motherboard, nvidia 8800 768mb, vista.... etc. Time to give up XP, it has served me well and like a worn out girlfriend it's time to dump it.
Go for it!!

Ouch. ;)
I would probably help. Couple it with a good CPU, GPU, etc and you're set.

Don't even think about running FSX at full because no matter what you buy (even if you get tech previews from intel, nvida or ati), you won't be able to max FSX. I'm getting quite sick of repeating this. I think you people should start using the search function of the forums more.... I really loved NickN's signature "I will use the search function before asking dumb questions" I'm not sure that's how it was but it was something like that.

32 bit operating systems don't support much more than 3.5 gb of memory. (include both ram and video card memory) So make sure it's the 64 bit version of whatever os you decided on. ;)

first, all upgrades and installments of new hardware is being conducted through a comp repair service. so any and all issues reguarding a new motherboard will, i hope be addresed buy somone who knows what they are doing.
2 i was aware that there was no hard ware capable of such a feet at the time of release. i was hoping that such a thing was possible after almost a year of hardware advances. expeshaly since its a time when lots of next gen stuff is comming out.

Unofrtunately it's not possible and it won't be for quite a while... maybe another year or so.
