Drivers

I have installed the most recent drivers for my machine I think I happend on a site that scanned my system and said all my drivers is the wrong version umm, I click on the get right version but I have to pay no surpise is there a freeware option to test get the right drivers. Or is that just a sales tactic for there service.

Know your hardware and goto the respected manufacturers site, download the drivers for free. There is no reason why you should pay for such a service. You can goto the device manager to find out what hardware your  system is using like, video card, sound, motherboard etc etc... You can also check the version to make sure its the latest.

In addition Windows update has some support for newer drivers.

...but also...BEWARE...

The latest drivers are not always the best for your particular particular hardware, and your particular use...;)

Be prepared to have to un-install them again, and go back to your previous/original Drivers to prevent problems!...;)...!

Save all your old downloaded drivers in a special folder, so that you can always re-install them again later!
