I have the same lovely old Creative Labs Soundblaster Live! 24, purchased new, many years ago!
The drivers were only obtainable for Win '95/'98 when the Card was released, but a tip from ALROT helped me to get the later WIN XP drivers, and access the full Creative program...

...!
It works fine now, and runs my surround-sound system, and MIDI keyboards via the built-in 15 pin Game socket!....(and also some of my old Gameport Joysticks, required for "old" games!)
A truly fantastic sound card, with the EMU chip fitted....and a built-in software Keyboard and a full 128 voice General Midi sound file...with effects!!
Yet another reason why I am resisting dumping my reliable Win XP, for Vista!....

...!
I doubt if most of my Software/Hardware will be compatible with VISTA...

Paul...of sound mind... 8-)...!
