D^mn! Is that even possible! I just touched my PC and placed my hand on the rear exhaust. They weren't that warm to the touch... (Granted, I live in the Caribbean so a temp difference may not be that great or even perceptible but...) Isn't that something someone should be worried about for purposes of the effects of heat on hardware life?
the inside of my computer stay pretty cool, but most of the heat comes from my huge 22' CRT monitor, and plus I have a small room

Ha you guys think you have heat? Turn on a A/c and feel the hot air blow out the rear end. I have that blowing in my room, not to mention from my computer. Plus the A/c compressor runs about 100C in room. I need a window in room open at all times or I start sweating just browsing the net. But hey at least my cpu is cold!

When my wife and I were both working we had 2 computers, 8 monitors, 2 printers, modems, routers, and a big TV running. When we went to work the room was cool. By the time we got off it was very warm in the room.
The room is on the third floor of a tri-level with no A/C, summer time was a bear up there.
