I have to run but will look at this tomorrow

off the top of my head.. its OK, improvements possible with making a move to DDR3 instead of DDR2 and getting a decent GTX card. The tower box I am not too impressed with for airflow but its OK. The PSU is not what I would call OK in that tower for a quad and GTS combo.. it will run full boar and will work but will leave no room for upgrades later... and may even drag things down as they are

will post back tommorow after I look at it again

Actually Paul,

In this case I meant it exactly as I typed it. I know the difference between a wild hog and the action of a drill and I use the wild hog term when I make that statement.

If you have ever been out in the boonies of the southeastern US and come across one of those things when it

About a tower

This one is not exactly what i would call the highest quality.. but, looking at it for the price, its got good potential

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6811146029

You would probably want to replace the fans with quiet ones.. if the ones that come with it are loud. I dont see a need for 4 120mm fans running on the side and I think its overkill but it does leave room to play and work with the fans, especially since it has the right type of grills and no mod is needed

and one more thing.. about the Thermalright 120.. that is a HUGE heat sink so the tower cant have a fan sitting directly across from it.. be aware that HS needs a big tower to fit it.

The Zalman is large too but not as tall as the 120. The Zalman is easy to install compared to the 120 which requires a backplate be used on the mtherboard, both come with all the mounting parts.

I know you posted 4 gigs of memory but the problem is 4 gigs will be slow compared to 2. If you still want the 4gigs you need to make sure they are DDR3 sticks and they must be 2gig sitcks. The P5k3 has 4 slots but the 2 BLACK slots are for HIGH SPEED ONLY. The other slots will not clock as high.

I could not find DDR3 2gb sticks so I am not sure where you got the list from.

If you dont intend to run a 64bit OS or dont know how to make 4 gigs of memory work in VISTA or XP, you are better off on 2 fast sticks.

Its up to you.

good luck
