Triplehead Monitors

Postby Akula. » Mon Jul 09, 2007 2:33 am

After my 21" monitor blew itself up during a lightning storm (use surge protectors, kids!), I've been thinking about buying a couple of the same monitors on ebay. For my budget, I think I can pick up three monitors, but my graphics card only has two outputs. I have onboard graphics which, although not great, would run static content reasonably well, and I've read that its possible to enable the onboard as a third monitor. But how can I do this? When I'm setting up dual monitors, etc, in Display Settings, I can only see two monitors, both of which are from my graphics card.

Any help would be much appreciated.

PS. Yes, for anybody that cares, I am attempting to have a total of 6144x1536 desktop area. For a guy who still plays doom1, this is overkill++  ;)
