New system coming together.

Thanks to the incredibly fast shipping of TigerDirect everything for stage 1 arrived in less then 48 hours, first box arrived the very next day, the case arrived 24 hours later 8-) Started putting together what I could.
The case is huge and has a very convenient layout. At 21 inches tall and about 18.5 inches wide there is tons of room to work in
Side window is nice but wasn't really a big deal for what I wanted...nice to see whats going on inside though. Leaving the protective plastic on it till the build is complete. Great case for $50...was $100 the day before I ordered
From this side you can see the HD bays...nice but kind of a pain though. Just screw the HD to a tray and slide it in. Plus side is that I was able to remove the unused 4 and make for much better airflow from the front fan. That silver panel above the bays is removable and hides all the 5 1/2 inch drives. Only problem I found with the HD trays was that my dual fan cooler couldn't be attached. But with that big fan right below it I shouldn't need it anyways...just another $10 towards something else.

Other side just plain panel. Love the black liquid gloss finish 8-)

Front panel easily swings open to reveal the 5 1/2 drive bays and that huge 120mm fan. With another 120mm in the back of the case there shouldn't be any problems keeping this baby cool. Currently just the front USB, firewire, with sound jacks, and my DVD/CD burner installed. Later on I plan to get just a regular DVD/CD-ROM to relieve the excess use of the burner. Drives have rails that screw onto the side, slide in same as the HDs.

Hardrive will be connected via SATA 100.
Stage 1 included...case, 2 120mm fans, 160 GB HD, and a Thermaltake heatsink 775 socket.
Stage 2 will include...Motherboard, IDE & SATA Cables, and possibly 2 GB DDR2 Dual Chanel 800mghz RAM. ETA...couple weeks.
Stage 3...Core Duo E6600 processor and anything else I missed. ETA...4 to 5 weeks.
Stage 4...22 inch LCD wide screen monitor and hopefully a 768mb PCI-E DX10 graphics card. ETA...Christmas
Total build cost providing prices stay the same...stages 1-3 and the monitor...approximately $850. Graphics card is undecided, and I plan on finding a new mouse and keyboard once I get it running.
