I just read in the guru3d.com forums about this DDR3 memory coming soon.

Just wanted to know what you pros think about it.  Like, will it catch on, and when.

Meh.

From what I've seen there is only limited performance increases using DDR3 over DDR2, much like early DDR2 vs DDR. I would wait till some reviews come out.

No seriously though, DDR3 has been in the works for about a year and a half that I have known about it. And its one of those things where I didn't change to DDR2 until I had a motherboard that didn't have a DDR slot, and I plan to do the same with DDR3.
