xbox360 and wireless network problems

hi all. i am having probelms connecting my 360 to my wireless network. even when i place the 360 next to my router, it simply cant find the network. i can connect other computers/laptops to the network no problem. any ideas what might be wrong?

Issues caused by the quality of your Internet connection or the firewall and Network Address Translation (NAT) settings of your wireless router?

yup, ite the only one that will work, apparently. i did try my belkin usb dongle but it didnt work at all.

Is your wireless network WEP or WPA secured? The XBox may be having a hard time finding its way through the security.

Once I put the wireless key in it worked like a charm on mine
