Another upgrade

Postby GuitarFreak » Tue Apr 03, 2007 10:09 pm

Well, I'm upgrading my computer again. I'm using the same video card that I have in my sig, same hdd's, case, and fans, but everything else is gonna be different.

That's what I plan on getting. What do you think about it?

Also, will I have to format my C: drive? I had to when I upgraded it the first time, and I was hoping I wouldn't have to do it again, but I think I do.

Use a Gigabyte GA-P965G-DS3 insted of the ASUS, and use Corsair XMS PC2-6400C4 insted of the GSkill RAM. Also a Thermaltake or Earnmax PSU would be much better.

The reason I chose that RAM is because it's $130. Plus, I have G.SKILL RAM now, and I love it. Not to mention I hope I can get $800 together for it.

Also, with that motherboard, I plan on getting another 8800 sometime in the future, so I'd like to have 2 PCI-E slots.
