Heading for a fall?

I wonder if it's time for a new internal drive or if this might be a firmware issue.

I agree, get it backed up and don't be surprised if there are errors, that drive is history.

After you back it up, you could try re-partitioning and test it well, I'm just thinking there is a slight possibility it'could be caused from viral activity, but that's unlikely.

Cross this one off of my 'To Do' list.  :)

Seagate 250 Gig 7200 RPM for a total of 500 gigs on my pc.  8-)  Both doctor and patient are doing well...
