The only problem I could see happening is if your power supply is not powerful enough to handle all the load, but you would need to determine that, and I'm not an expert on power requirements by any stretch of the imagination.

There are utilities that supposedly tell you what your power requirements are after you enter your system details, but I'm not sure how accurate they are.

i had to upgrade my PSU from 400w to 700w because my SATA"s were failing.

this and i have 10 usb ports, all of them filled.

here's the COMPLETE specs of my computer, everything connected to it and all.

all in all, i would say that when you upgrade your power supply, all will be fine. windows XP limits you to 26 devices (one for each letter of the alphabet) as far as i was told. and XP "supports" up to 127 USB devices. I think my 10 are plenty enough ;)

Thats actaully not a bad calculator as long as 5 areas are carfully addressed:

1. You must make sure you match your devices correctly with the items in the lists it presents. Close is not good enough, especially with video card and cpu
2. If you intend to clock make sure you set the utilization to 100% and set the clocked Vcore to a higher number than you anticipate.
3. You must make sure you do not miss any fans or devices.
4. If you use the motherboard onboard NIC and sound onboard, add them in as cards
5. Add a minimum of 50 - 100watts to what ever the calculater totals

If that is followed the calculator is a very good way to measure a system

Jezz!! :o :o

well I also have a 700 watts power suppply (and I uncovered to check that out you know how are the chinesse stuff)yeah It has a double diode bridge rectifier and many voltage regulators in series ,..16 transistor in total, normaly in a 300 watts carries 8

I was asking more about an IRQ issues from the motherboard, because I see that when Im in win98 it doesn't detect the rest of the cd/hdd drives ,only the scsi one ,well  ;D I think Ramos has answer my question ;D I hope no other gift ,I have available another SATA port  ::)

Thanks Guys!! :D
