I've been doing some research trying to find a new computer with PCI Express, etc, because my computer is getting kind of old. I was looking around the internet and found this:http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2727026&Tab=0&NoMapp=0. I don't really know much about it, but after a quick search I found some good reviews. But this seems insanely cheap if it will do what I want it to. I can't figure out what motherboard is in it though. I really want to start trying to overclock my computer. Would I be able to do that with this? Looking for any and all advice.

P.S.: My budget is definitely under $600, and I need a monitor. Any suggestions on that too? If I get it, I'd just use my PCI graphics card until I could afford a new one.

Its a piece, don't even bother with it. The best part of that computer is the processor, everything else is crap.

The question is are you looking to sim on this rig, or is it just internet surfing / music.

Yea, the xpress200 only has 2 pixel pipelines, and steals system RAM, and when you only have 512MB you need all you can get.

If you do end up getting this, your going to want to throw in a GB of RAM, and a PCI-E x16 graphics card.

CharlottesDad, it might not be able to do that now, but it might (hopefully) once I get a decent PCI-E card in there 8-). But who knows when that'll be .....

ctjoyce, it actually comes with 1 GB of RAM, but from what I've read, 2 GB is still what I need anyway. I'd eventually save up enough for the graphics card.


any cheap flat-panel monitor suggestions? It doesn't have to be some wide-screened monster, just nothing that will die or affect performance ( if they can do that) & enough to show me stuff in 1024 X 768 or higher.
