Bad Bad morning

Postby luke » Thu Mar 01, 2007 3:21 am

The wife's old PC.

The screen sudenly shows double & triple windows & mouse pointers desctop, all in line & floating L to R, then changes to flickering lines & back again.

Is uncontrollable & have to SW off or reastart with same results.

I change the monitor & the grfx card with same problem.

Is it a win XP problem or what.

Any help appreciated,                         luke

Might sound basic but have you tried a different mouse?

I think the monitor frequency output has been change to a higher level, no matter if you change the video card the system will say 100 or 120 hertz and the monitor wont sincronize vertical output :..restart the machine ,right after the bios start hit F8 set save mode see if it has the same issue go to the screen option set your monitor in 60 hertz, restart the machine ...Ill be waiting here,...anyway I think your mouse won't work in that way ,but just do this and see if it shows the triple windows without controlers(drivers) then I'll tell you what and how to do it..
