Gonna sound stupid!

Postby sonic » Sat Mar 03, 2007 11:51 pm

I was wondering I am using a old hardrive with and old copy of xp on it, I am only using it for backup I have 2 large folders I need to keep one is 9gigs and the other is 12 gigs, Unfortuntly I cant delete the other folders it keeps saying error cant delete "  " file. Is there a easier way to delete everything on the drive besides those 2 folders without having to drag them to my C drive and format the old one.

You could partition the drive. Dump the files in the small partition and reformat the large partition. Mind you that'll take as long if not longer than dragging to C: doing a full reformat and then dragging back....
