OK your first post said you hadn't the faintest idea and your second post now says you now know what PSU you need.
I needed the spec to assess your total power requirements.  Most 450W PSUs  12V rails are rated at 15-18A...I'm not aware of a 22A model...I was interested in your specs to see why you had been recommended a 22A.

20A rails start kicking in about 800W range.. I'm still not aware of a model with a 22A 12V rail though??

If you check out the PSUs on Newegg..they always give the full specs.

Regards

Jim

thats odd ive seen one at the 500-550W range.
i said i needed 22A on the rail but i didnt know anysites or of any PSU's that had that.

At newegg.. click on the SPECIFICATIONS link. If that does not have the data there is also a link that says MANUFACTURES WEB PAGE

Watt range means NOTHING. It is the rail specifications that tell the story. There are PSU's rated for 480W that will out perform PSUs rated for 650W. It depends on the rails. Some have 2 and 3 seperate 12v rails, others have 1. Some video cards have 2 power inputs so 2 separate rails can be used, others have 1. I have even seen 800W PSU's that would choke compared to some 580W units.

If you find a PSU you think will work, post a link here and myself or someone else can check the real specs to see if it suits the system.

I recall reading you were overclocking... if thats the case you better up the rail amps because the minimums you need wont cut it, at ALL. Low A rails will inhibit overclocking, increase the heat dramatically and cause video instability during clocking.

kk cheers mate, yeh my overclock did something and the cmos got res set which is realy gay :(

that is one im thinking of getting. it has decent rails from what i saw on their website, but if someone could just double check for me i will love them for ever :D
