Hey guys! :)

I have a straight-forward question about some hardware for my baby brother's new PC.

I've been looking at two different computers and I can't decide which one of the two to get. The only difference between them is the processor (and motherboard of course), but since that really is the "core" (haha :P) of computers, I suspect it can be crucial which one I choose. The PC is for the sole purpose of playing computer games.

I would appreciate it if you would be so kind as to not start suggesting alternatives, and just say which of the two you think is the best PC. Should you however feel the need to do so, please keep in mind that the PC has to be here, in Denmark, on February the 24th.

Anyway, the two computers:

1:
Processor - 1 x Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 / 1.86 GHz ( 1066 MHz ) - LGA775 - L2 2 MB - Box
Motherboard: ASrock 775 Core2duo, 1066 FSB, USB 2.0
RAM: 2048MB DDR2 PC4200/533
Videocard: 512MB Geforce 7950GT Pci-E
Harddrive: 300GB 7200rpm. 8,5 m/s S-ATA
Soundcard: 8.1 Digital
DVD: 18X Dual DVD/RW
Cabinet: Miditower ATX 400 Watt PSU Low noise

2:
Processor - AMD Athlon64 4200+X2 Dual Core AM2 S-940
Motherboard: Winfast K8M890M2MA S-940
RAM: 2048MB DDR2 PC4200/533
Videocard: 512MB Geforce 7950GT Pci-E
Harddrive: 300GB 7200rpm. 8,5 m/s S-ATA
Soundcard: 8.1 Digital
DVD: 18X Dual DVD/RW

Your [fast] help is appreciated. :)

Hmm, personally I would go for #1.....

But I suppose its personal preference, and the fact that the E6300 is better  8-)

On the first one, change the motherboard to the Gigabyte GA-P965G-DS3 and get a Hiper Type R 580W PSU in there and your good. That 400 you have selected will fry under the graphics alone.

But yea, go for number one with my suggestions, and clock to the moon.

Cheers
