feed up with the qualms of dual boot in vista and xp

I've tried it all,  but what the h,  I now have freedom.............

I can now use any one of my many hard drives as I please,  all my copies of vista ands xp are legit,

as one can expect,  plug and play now.

I am using my slide out hard drive cage in my case as a holder for these drives,  fans to cool are just strapped to the cage,  12 v for fans from PS vs. extension cables,  cage sits on the table,  sata extend via http://www.satagear.com/221005A_SATA_Cable.html

IIIIIII what's the deal........................hehe

just unplug,     plug in  and play..................................................

I have 3 HDD caddys in my computer for the same reason.. It is just a matter of turning on the drive I want to use... Never did like the dual boot option.

Dual boot is very easy. If you have an install of XP on one drive, and you install Vista on another, Vista will automadically setup a bootloader. Even linux will boot from this bootloader.

No one said dual boot was not easy... I just find it much more convenient the way I do it.

If that was directed at what I said, I don't remove my HDDs but just turn on the one I want to use for any given session. I have 3 operating systems loaded but use XP as my primary OS. There are no HDDs actually installed inside my case but I do have all 3 caddys mounted. My data drives are all E-SATA which can also be selectively turned on or off.

I did not say dual boot was a bad thing but if I screw something up it is easily fixed without worrying about the rest of the system screwing up too.

There is no right or wrong way to do the hard drives as long as the individual doing it is happy with the outcome.
