vga64k infinite loop error?

Hey guys i just bought a cheap dell optiplex gx150 from pratt and whitney (refurbished) just as a backup comp, i went to install xp on it and once it was done copying files it did the restart and it just keeps going to the blue screen of death with a vga64k infinite loop error
for the life of me i cant figure out how to fix it!  Has anyone else had this happen to them before and could you give me some advice?

Boot from the CD and before you start installing Win XP..first delete all the partitions so that your hard-drive is one completely unpartitioned space..Then do a FULL Format on that unpartitioned space using NTFS.  After the format install XP.

That looks like a hardware error.... Mine was a soundcard on the HP... I eventually got it to boot but ugh... It fried anyways. I'd try what jimcooper1 said and just try it... you never know  ;D

You're right Gunny..it is almost certainly a BIOS hardware error..but worth trying that first because DELL put some strange sh*t in their boot partitions.
Next step if that doesn't work is to restore BIOS to default settings.
If that doesn't work..trudge back to Pratt & Whitney and ask for your money back!!
