I have searched far and wide trying to find a computer that I can buy from a retailer in the U.K. and so far these seem to be O.K. rigs. Im starting to understand some of this computer jargon, but I still want your advise.

So, you tell me, which one is better? and why?

This one
Computer 1

or

This one
Computer 2

How well will these run FS2004 and will they even run FSX?

Thanks for your help.

Luke

both will run FSX and FS9 (2004).

tho, ur choice is really for Core 2 Duo Windows XP, or Pentium D with windows vista.

im not really in a situation to advise what u shood buy.  i would personally get a dell comp if i could (but im a do it yourself kinda person).

So, since both hav roughly the same capabilities, u decided.

U may choose the first, cuz the ms sites say works great on Core 2 Duo and stuff like that.

ya.  id say comp 1.  i still think getting a dell comp would be better tho...

The second one is the better computer. Though the first one has the better processer, the compaq is a mid ATX case, where as the first one is a slimline Micro ATX. Should you want to add a second hard drive, or change your video card, the slimline just can't do it.

Both will run FS9 and FSX just fine. FS9 maxed, and FSX with most eye candy at around 15FPS

Thanks Str1ker and Cam,

Sadly I can't go for the 999 mark, however much i'd love to!  ::)  :P

At least I can be assured they'll run FS well...

I'll probably look into getting the second computer as its cheaper and i'll have the ability to change video cards ect....

Thanks again.  ;)

Personally I'd avoid the 7500LE graphics card.
You can get a DELL with 19" monitor, E6300 processor, 2GB RAM, 320GB hard drive and a 7900GS graphics card for
