my 7900GTO which i had problems with has gone back, and they should be sending me a new one, as soon as i described what was happening over the phone the bloke went, yes thats a memory error. apparently its not abnormal on 7900's

but hopefully this time i should get a working one

im sooo happy, no more blurry textures i hope

Yea, the 7900 having memory problems is not at all uncomon.

good good. so,e truth to what he was saying, i knew it was a troublesom core just didnt know what aspect of it. just hope my new one is 100% working properly

It should. Mine works just fine, and even with the overclock dosn't artifact.

What brand is it?

its a 512mb MSI 7900GTO

Also not supprising. MSI uses crappy RAM to begin with.
