I just got a HP lappy with a Geforce Go 7600. I want to update the drivers but the only ones i can use are the ones provided by HP. The drivers offered by HP are a few months old now and I want the latest ones. I've tried downloading and running the Go 7 drivers from the nvidia website but it says that it doesn't have any drivers for my hardware. Is there any where I can get the drivers to install or maybe a modded driver may work?

As long as they didnt do board mods (which is quite likely for laptops).
In the past some MX boards had a modded BIOS to save PCB space (using a self-designed layout instead of the refrence design) by hooking the RAM to the 1A and 1B channels instead of the 1A and 2A channels... which gave a small performance increase at the cost of driver incompatibility

Why do you need modded drivers for a laptop version of a card?

Because they might have killed RAM bank 2 completely and use Bank 1 for 100% instead... saves space on the PCB and a lot of termination resistors (heat)
