Speaking about CPU Fan?

Postby alrot » Thu Jan 18, 2007 10:59 am

I'm just about to "cover " my computer ,but not without been worried about the CPU fan..
See, maybe I got used to the old P3 silence fan, ...But this new one(the original that came in intel's box)its too loud and fast..
I saw the temp. in the bios(I don't know how to see it from inside Xp) and its 40-41

If that is what came with it I wouldn't worry. If the fan starts going bad you should get some sort of warning such as a squealing sound or something.
I have my fans running fast and have never changed them, haven't seen a reason to not keep them full boar. Noise doesn't bother me that is what the 7:1 surround is for :)

I have been around Alrot some days more often than others.
Well the good thing is at least it is spinning, maybe faster than you think it should but I wouldn't worry until it stops spinning.  ;D
